SAME VAST BACKYARD was founded by Josh Bullock in 2023.

Josh specialises in field producing and directing films with some of the most remote locations, people and wildlife.

He field produced several sequences for OUR PLANET 2, David Attenborough's new wildlife spectacular for NETFLIX including trips to the Arctic, Alaska and the Himalayas.

As a 23 year old, his first job was on Tribal Wives for the BBC, living with a tribe of pygmies as camp manager, French translator and footage logger.

A decade later he has sold rights to his documentaries to top networks like Amazon Prime, BBC, Topic and broadcast TV networks.

In 2012 he founded and edited the international print magazine So It Goes: www.soitgoesmag.com/print where he interviewed and wrote features and made films with some of the leading cultural figures of his day: Werner Herzog, Jane Goodall, Terry Gilliam and Adam Driver to name a few.
